We are shocked and saddened to report the passing of Toby Ducker, Interim Chair of our Board. Toby succeeded our outgoing Chair, Barbara Bradley, during 2022 but had served as Trustee of the Charity since June 2016, during which time he chaired our Finance and Governance Committee. Carol Stone will take over as Interim Chair until a new Chair is appointed.
Toby was unwavering in his support for creating opportunities for young people. He was instrumental in putting the charity on a stronger financial footing and was pivotal in shaping our bold ambitions for the youth sector.
On behalf of my fellow Trustees and all of my colleagues at the NYA, we wish to pass on our deep condolences to his family and all those who loved him. He will be greatly missed.
