The NYA Youth Work Academy today unveiled a selection of 12 free virtual CPD courses.
The new suite of support for youth workers is made possible by our funders and partners:
- Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
- Youth Futures Foundation
- National Lottery Community Fund
- Paul Hamlyn Foundation
- UFI VocTech Trust
The new catalogue of virtual CPD opportunities include short, bite-sized courses on youth work themes including youth participation, supporting young people in governance, supporting young people into employment, safeguarding, and many more.
Abbee McLatchie, NYA Director of Youth Work commented,
“We are elated to be able to provide this selection of free opportunities for youth workers to refresh their existing knowledge of working with young people, and for anyone working with young people to learn the valuable skills and knowledge required to best support young people. Special thanks to our funders and supporters, whose passion for transforming the lives of young people makes this possible.”
