Following the launch of the NYA’s Safeguarding and Risk Management Hub in April 2021, we have been listening to the feedback from our hub users and are delighted to be implementing a number of changes across the hub.  This evolution includes increasing user accessibility and customisable functionality across the hub, alongside adding a new search bar to help users find resources quickly and seamlessly.  This new-look of the hub will launched today, with further developments including new chat bot and other interactive elements being released later in 2022.

We would like to thank the Safeguarding and Risk Management Steering Group, who have supported NYA in the development and launch of the Hub.  We would like to recognise John Downes, Chair of the Steering Group, Chloë Morton, Pharos and Sally Carr who have all been instrumental in the next development phase of the Safeguarding and Risk Management Hub.

Young people deserve to learn, engage, be cared for, play, and be in safe spaces. The primary duty of any youth provision is to ensure the environment in which activities and services are delivered in are safe, and that young people are supported by adults who will promote their welfare. Safeguarding young people should be at the forefront of our minds and we are striving to embed the culture of safeguarding in our everyday practice.

We welcome all feedback on the reimagined Safeguarding and Risk Management Hub, your feedback will help us continue to evolve the resources, ensuring it has largest impact for the youth sector and beyond.
