Esther will join NYA from April 2022 and join the team to help strengthen the Youth Work sector and face any challenges the sector encounters as we move out of pandemic restrictions.

“We are pleased to have appointed Esther to the NYA team as Deputy Director Youth Work. Her expertise, sector knowledge and insight will be invaluable in the work we do to support the youth sector.”
Esther joins the NYA from Kinetic, a social enterprise she set up along with Gess Aird focused on delivering youth work within, or at risk of being coming involved in, the youth justice system.
Esther said in a social media announcement of her move,
“The time has come for me to explore pastures new and work with our professional regulatory statutory body to develop and support our sector as we recover post pandemic“
We hope the sector will join us in warmly welcoming Esther to the NYA team.
