Your chance to design a logo for the Childhood and Youth Research Institute

What does CRYI want you to do?

We want a young person inspired and designed logo for the new Childhood and Youth Research Institute (CYRI). We would like you to design and submit a logo for the institute that tells other children, young people and/or adults at a quick glance what values and principles the institute stands for. Things to consider:

  • Will it communicate our focus on marginalised and vulnerable children and young people?
  • Will it copy well in black and white as well as colour print?
  • Will it stand out when positioned in a row with other logos?
  • Will it remain clear to see if it is reduced in size?
  • Will it reflect but not copy the Anglia Ruskin Logo?
  • What is the Childhood and Youth Research Institute about?

The new Institute aims to support, encourage and produce high quality research and publications for, with and by marginalised and vulnerable children and young people. By:

  • building upon the research strengths and skills of the staff team
  • creating a community of research fellows, research associates, research degree students; and
  • a strong focus on producing high quality research for, with and by children and young people
  • seeking out and applying for a high number of bids to complete research for, with, and by children and young people from external funders
  • forging and working together with external partners
  • and developing opportunities to share and receive knowledge across higher education, children and youth organisations as well as interest parties.
