UK Youth Media Council - World Summit on Media for Children and Youth
Six young people from across the UK have been selected to represent the UK, at the World Summit on Media for Children and Youth taking place in less than 3 weeks, in Sweden. Find out more >>
Young people from the UK will make up the UK Youth Media Council and will be working alongside young people from other countries across the world to produce new recommendations for improving the media for children and young people.

It’s not always easy to find somewhere safe to play or hang out. This is your youth group’s chance to get something going.
It’s simple. Your group identifies the problem (could be that they get bored and end up playing in dangerous places, or get pushed around by an older group) then you come up with a project that solves it!
This could include the chance to play a sport or other things to do locally. Then NO MESSIN'! could give you the money, support and training to make it happen.
This is your group’s chance to get up to £200 to turn your idea into reality, and to go on a three-day residential training course with other teams from Scotland, Wales and England. The training will help make your project a success as your group learns skills in teamwork, problem-solving and communication.

Young Equals is a group of charities and children and to have your say!young people who are campaigning to stop age discrimination.

Take part in the Young Equals survey: Have you been treated unfairly because of your age?
Young Equals is gathering evidence of harmful age discrimination against under-18s and wants to hear about your experiences. If you are 18+ and would like to contribute you can answer in relation to your experiences as a child, or in relation to other people's experiences as a child (e.g. your own children). We will use this information to help change the law and get legal protection from age discrimination for children. All answers will remain confidential. Take part now!

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers are working with the University of Nottingham to find out what pupils who have to look after a parent or guardian need so that they, and other organisations, can provide the right sort of support and services for them and their families in the future.

1. have the permision of a parent or guardian;
2.be aged between 5-16 years old.
