Community Volunteering Qualifications
Community Volunteering Qualifications
ASDAN have launched a new qualification (the Community Volunteering Qualification or CVQ) to recognise and accredit voluntary and community activities. This accreditation can aid the recruitment and retention of volunteers, as well as rewarding their contributions within particular organisations or projects.
These flexible Entry 3 and Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications can aid the recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers. They have GCSE equivalence at Levels 1 and 2, and attract UCAS points at Level 3. CVQ can accredit between 20 and 130 hours of voluntary work, with a range of different-sized outcomes available, from the single-unit Award in Volunteering at an Event to a full CVQ Certificate.
