Training Events
The types of Quality Mark training events that are generally on offer are detailed below.
- Getting Started on the self-assessment
This type of event is aimed at organisations that have just begun to look at the self-assessment and require some guidance about how to complete it. The event will enable delegates to understand the framework and provide small group exercises to demonstrate scoring levels and what might count as evidence.
- Evidencing Impact in the self-assessment
This type of event is aimed at organisations already working on the self-assessment to assist with recording evidence. It will give delegates the opportunity to share information and expertise with other organisations, identify strategies for improvement and use small group exercises to demonstrate how to identify and document evidence. Delegates are encouraged to bring examples that they have already started putting together from their own self-assessment.
- Preparing for the National Award
This type of event is aimed at organisations that have been working through the self-assessment and are ready to apply for the National Award within the next 6 months. It will be expected that delegates will have at least part completed their self-assessment and are expecting to achieve an established position. Delegates will have the chance to understand the process for the National Award accreditation, be clear on how to present the self-assessment and have more understanding on the level of evidence required. One of the facilitators at this event will be a Quality Mark assessor.
