Current Level using Hear by Right: Emerging
Our Main Strengths: Clear and concise mission statement, aims & objectives, and policies. Highly experienced youth workers. Regular contact with, and a very good level of support for young volunteers. Provision of a wide range of engaging volunteering opportunities for young people. Involving young people on our Board of Directors. A youth steering group which regularly reports back to the management team.
Our Main Weaknesses: Getting senior management as involved and active with YP participation as key staff are. Regular communication with all young people across the organisation. Insufficient resources and capacity to provide adequate practical support for all tasks and projects YP are engaged with.
What we can offer to other in the region: Resources and examples of good practice. Young people to come and talk to their peers in other organisations about youth participation and volunteering.
Mapping and Planning Tool
Hear by Right is based around the Mapping and Planning tool. This website provides a space for organisations to share their maps and plans using the tool, both in order to share details of what they are doing locally, and to promote learning between organisations.
