Saving children's lives
Ten million children die every year before their fifth birthday, with the poorest and most neglected children at greatest risk. Most die needlessly from illnesses we can prevent or treat. Save the Children are asking members of the public to support our campaign and to take simple actions to change this.
Save the Children focuses on four fundamental rights for children: health, freedom from hunger, education and protection. They also focus on influencing decision-makers. This is all about making the right arguments to the right people at the right time. Every year the lives of more than 60 million children are caught up in emergencies. Save the Children respond quickly to their immediate needs through Emergency responses. The organization currently works in 52 countries around the world, running long-term programmes and emergencies responses.

Hear by Right is based around the Mapping and Planning tool. This website provides a space for organisations to share their maps and plans using the tool, both in order to share details of what they are doing locally, and to promote learning between organisations.
