Our Main Strengths: We are the first public formal partnership to bring together a local authority, NYA and Investing in Children to deliver a 3 year participation support programme to all organizations delivering services within the local Children’s Trust Arrangements. The offer includes consultancy support to help organizations become confident in the use of the HBR standards and to complete a map & plan; practice support to help partners devise and deliver relevant and accessible participation activities with groups of children & young people; staff training & development opportunities and nationally recognized validation & accreditation of participation practice & positive change through the Investing in Children Membership Scheme – providing credible evidence directly from children and young people of dialogue and change in their lives.
What we can offer to other in the region: A model of practice that brings HBR and Investing in Children to transform an entire Children’s Trust through a structured and highly strategic approach, offering sustainability, evidence of positive change and enhanced opportunities for collaboration and networked learning for all involved.
Mapping and Planning Tool
Hear by Right is based around the Mapping and Planning tool. This website provides a space for organisations to share their maps and plans using the tool, both in order to share details of what they are doing locally, and to promote learning between organisations.
