Local Network Details

Isle of Wight Children and Young People's Trust has shared the following details about using Hear by Right and young people's participation in the organisation.

Current Level using Hear by Right: Emerging
Our Main Strengths: That the local authority has signed up to support Hear by Right as a working tool. To listen to children and young people and recognise them as having a central role leading to an excellent Children’s Trust
Our Main Weaknesses: That young people do not know what services and organisations are available locally and how to access them.
What we can offer to other in the region: We have been using the Hear by Right Standards to work with schools, community groups and the voluntary sector for two years to map the active involvement of children and young people. Happy to discuss where to start in your area

Mapping and Planning Tool

Hear by Right is based around the Mapping and Planning tool. This website provides a space for organisations to share their maps and plans using the tool, both in order to share details of what they are doing locally, and to promote learning between organisations.
