Young people get less help from social services due to lack of resources

The three-year study into the protection of mal-treated 11- to 17-year-olds says that social services, that are short of resources, often prioritise vulnerable younger children. The study further finds that there is an urgent need for a shift in approach to ensure young people are kept safe.
