Teachers to lead the way in preventing violence against women and girls

Measures outlined will include plans to revise training for new teachers and to include VAWG issues in the PSHE curriculum from 2011. Teachers will also be given clear advice on how to deal with suspected cases of violence against women and girls in their schools and referring young girls at risk to support services
