Research shows significant numbers of care leavers want to re-enter education

The research suggests that as care leavers get older, they are eager and able to re-engage with an education system that may previously have let them down. Just over 16 per cent of respondents to the survey aged 41 and over had one or more GCSEs, while almost 23 per cent held a degree qualification.
