The Edge Gets a Makeover

05 August 2011

The National Youth Agency, as part of its programme of work with the Local Government Group, has re-launched its free publication for elected members after giving it a cutting ‘edge’ makeover.

The Edge is now a digital magazine filled with policy information, case studies, and examples of best practice and news from local authorities from across the country.

Readers of The Edge provided their views on what they want from the publication and how they would like it to look and feel, through a readership survey undertaken by the National Youth Agency in January this year.

Individual formats have been developed for iPad, Kindle and Android electronic readers and a small number have also been printed for those readers who prefer it in a hard copy format.

This edition (number 32) includes case studies from local authorities that are ‘Doing Things Differently’, an article from Parliamentary Secretary of State for Children and Families, Tim Loughton MP, and an insight into the Department for Education’s Positive for Youth strategy.

Download your copy for FREE from the National Youth Agency publications library in a Kindle Format or for Pc's, iPad and Android or contact media@nya.org.uk to order a hard copy
