02 February 2011
An event is to be held to showcase research undertaken by the National Youth Agency’s Young Researcher Network.
To be held on 22nd March 2011 at the Local Government Association, the event will bring together young researchers from across the country to profile methodologies and findings from a range of interest areas that affect young people’s lives.
The celebration event will profile completed projects funded through the National Youth Agency as part of its work with the Local Government Association, supported by topsliced funding for local authorities.
Attendees will include young people, academics and youth work professionals with an interest in youth-led research and will provide networking opportunities and an exploration into the future of innovative research methods.
Adam Williams, National Youth Agency participation project officer, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for young people to showcase their projects and discuss the challenges and opportunities for social policy research that affects young people’s research. It is also a chance for young people interested in getting involved with youth-led research to find out how.”
The event will also include key note speeches from national organisations and local authorities.
