Have Your Say Now on Potential for Institute for Youth Work

16 July 2012

The National Youth Agency is urging the sector to have their say on the potential for an Institute for Youth Work before the consultation closes later this month.

Since the beginning of June youth workers, students and practitioners of all levels have provided formal feedback through the online survey on proposals, developed by the NYA’s Education and Training Standards Committee, on the potential form and function of a body that would promote quality youth work and secure standards for ethical youth work practice.

The exploration in to the potential for a body for the youth work sector is being undertaken by the National Youth Agency as part of its work with the NCVYS-led catalyst consortium.

The consultation will close on 31st July 2012.
