Ofsted has today launched research into the Pupil Premium.
National Youth Agency chief executive Fiona Blacke comments:
“High quality youth work can have a positive impact on the overall educational attainment of disadvantaged young people. Today’s report by Ofsted into the Pupil Premium is disappointing and raises some key issues that must be addressed. As part of that process, we believe there is a real opportunity for youth work to help solve some of the challenges schools face in raising the educational attainment of their most disadvantaged pupils.”
