Healthy meals beyond reach of poor, says Ofsted

Critics of the government's decision to scrap a planned extension of free school meals called on the education secretary, Michael Gove, to change his mind, after Ofsted found that in some families money was so tight that siblings had to take it it turns to have nutritious lunches for a week. Ofsted also found that a third of the schools it went to were still failing to provide healthy meals.
