'Cafe society' plans for young people in Isle of Man

A report by the Council of Ministers has been drawn up with the help of the Young Persons Working Group. Among the ideas being considered are longer opening hours for cafes and more music venues. The report found that young people were not looking for expensive new facilities, just better use of existing ones. The Council of Ministers is also considering forming a network of sports and leisure facilities that are available on a 'turn up and play' basis.
