Anti-gang guidance from government offered to schools
11 March 2010
Teachers, youth workers and children's social workers will be given the guidance, which includes tips on what to do if they suspect gang involvement. Called Safeguarding children and young people who may be affected by gang activity, the guidance looks at issues such as preventing permanent exclusions and combating substance misuse and aggressive behaviour. It will be published ahead of an anti-knife crime week in schools next week.
