myplace - Improving Youth Facilities

myplace is designed to kick start the Government’s vision for improving youth facilities outlined in Aiming high for young people: a ten year strategy for positive activities.

myplace Fast Track Grants

The Department for Children, Schools and Families has announced the recipients of a total of £61.7 million under the myplace fast track funding round. This represents an increase of £11.7 million on the original £50 million allocation, and reflects the quality of applications. A total of 21 projects received grants of between £1 and £5 million.  All myplace projects are based on partnerships between councils and third sector organisations and are driven by the active participation of young people and their views and needs.
