Investing in youth facilities and building from recent experience

19 Nov 2008
A new report from The National Youth Agency looks at a range of case studies on capital investment in youth facilities.

Sponsored by the Department for Children, Schools and Families it identifies current leading practice around the ten myplace principles. These include such areas as young people’s outcomes, young people’s active participation, accessibility, community cohesion and long-term viability. The report brings together findings from 36 case studies on improvements to individual facilities and eight on local authorities’ strategic approaches to capital investment.

The full report, and the case studies which underpin it, are all available for free download from The National Youth Agency website at www.nya.org.uk/myplace.
