Developing Personal and Social Development Units

The National Youth Agency agreed undertaking research with Awards organisation that are members of the Network for Accrediting Young People’s Achievement (NfAYPA) to identify the key issues in including awards within the proposed Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) being developed by QCA/LSC.

As a result of the work undertaken, the Awards Network has been trialling and testing the PSO units and qualifications as part of the development of the Foundation Learning Tier (FLT) with the QSF. The outcomes of this work are due to be reported in June 2008.
