Finance Officer – Purchasing

You’ll have a varied role ensuring the efficient operation and control of purchasing and payment of supplies and services, together with maintenance of the purchase ledger, for The Agency and partner organisations.

Salary NYA Scale E, Points 22-25 £18,907 - £20,736 (pay award pending)

From liaising with signatories to dealing with suppliers, you’ll need good communication skills and a proactive approach to complement your technical knowledge. We’ll be looking for proven accounting experience, good time management and sound software knowledge – especially MS Office and ideally SUN accounting applications. With A-C level GCSE grades (or equivalent) in Maths and English, you could well be AAT qualified, though this isn’t essential providing you’re committed to continuous learning and self development.

At The NYA you can look forward to an excellent package including a final salary pension scheme, flexible working, 25 days annual leave, childcare voucher scheme, a contribution towards childcare support during school summer holidays, plus the immeasurable reward of working for a very worthwhile cause.
