Children being failed by progressive teaching

Conservative shadow education secretary Michael Gove has criticised the government's education policies in a speech at a teachers conference in Sussex.
He said that generations of children have been let down by 'so-called progressive education' policies which have taught skills and 'empathy' instead of bodies of knowledge.
