Store drops Mosquito device in autism row

The Co-op is to become the first chain of shops to abandon its use of the Mosquito, the controversial anti-teenager device, on the grounds that it may be having serious effects on people with autism.

The decision was made following a campaign by a young person claiming that the device caused him pain.
