The National Youth Agency's Youth Action work is led by specialist staff located within The NYA's Development Programme, Information and Publications sections.

The Youth Action Team’s work focuses on supporting young people’s volunteering and ‘youth action’ in the community. As strategic partners of the Office of the Third Sector (located within the Cabinet Office) we hold a unique position which allows us to represent views and disseminate information and advice on policy to and from the volunteering sector. We also support the development and sharing of good practice through a range of Youth Action resources and support to volunteer involving organisations.

The OTS funded work is currently complimented by programmes which allow us to focus on developing practice in specific areas including community cohesion (in partnership with Department of Children, School and Familes) and intergenerational work (in partnership with Beth Johnson Foundation).
