25 Apr 2008
A survey for a mental health provider suggests that a third of young women aged 11-19 have tried to harm themselves.

The study based on 800 young people found that of those who admitted to self harming, 43% did so because they were depressed, 17% were angry, 10% due to relationship problems and 10% because they were stressed.
