Youth Work Week 2005

The National Youth Agency has confirmed that the theme for Youth Work Week 2005 is to be "Enjoying and Achieving". The week takes place from 1-7 November.

As we become aware of events and activities we will list them below in order to highlight how youth work organisations are planning to use the week. If you have comments or would like to forward details of your own plans please send an email  to Tim Burke.

Leicestershire Youth Service launches Youth Work Week  on Sunday 30th October 2005
10am - 4pm with a day of arts activities at Loughborough Town Hall. Young people attending the event will have the opportunity to take part in workshops ranging from dance, drama and rap poetry to mask making. Using the theme of 'enjoying and achieving', young people will have the chance to celebrate their achievements through a small showcase event at the end of the day. The event is open to young people aged 11 to 25 years, priority will be given to the 13-19 age group.
