About the Awards Network
The Network for Accrediting Young People's Achievement was formed in 1998 by a range of key national accrediting bodies in non-formal education to foster co-operation and professional knowledge-sharing between organisations.

The Network is working together in a spirit of collaboration for the mutual benefit of the member organisations and, more importantly, the young people whom it serves. Over 500,000 young people each year voluntarily engage in the awards programmes run by Network members. In terms of their delivery, the Awards span formal and informal education settings, often delivered in partnership with other agencies; thus an inter agency infrastructure is already in place. The Awards are cost effective and are inclusive in their ethos, available to all young people.
The Network produces a National Framework of Awards in Non-Formal Education settings (Awards Framework).
