NYA Quality Mark Award Holders

Fourteen organisations have now been through the National Award assessment process and achieved The NYA Quality Mark National Award.

Award Winners in Pictures!

SEPTEMBER 2008

Congratulations to Connexions Cumbria and Young Cumbria, the two latest organisations to achieve The NYA Quality Mark National Award. Their awards were ratified by The NYA Executive Board when it met in September 2008. This brings the total number of award holders to fourteen and also means there are now two Connexions holders of the award and four voluntary organisations. Connexions Cumbria and Young Cumbria will be marking their awards as part of a celebration day at Brathay Hall on 27th September 2008.

JUNE 2008

Bradford YMCA and London Borough of Tower Hamlets Youth and Community Services both achieved their NYA Quality Mark National Awards in June 2008.

MARCH 2008

Three organisations achieved the National Award in March 2008: London Borough of Hillingdon Youth and Connexions Service, North East Lincolnshire Integrated Young People’s Support Service and Nottingham City Youth Service.

DECEMBER 2007

Halton Youth Service and West Sussex Youth Service achieved their Awards in December 2007.

OCTOBER 2007

Bradford City Centre Project achieved the National Award in October 2007 becoming the second voluntary youth organisation to gain the Award.

JUNE 2007

Black Country Connexions, Bradford Youth Service and e:merge achieved the National Award in June 2007. Black Country Connexions was the first Connexions organisation to gain the Award and e:merge was the first voluntary youth organisation to do so.

DECEMBER 2006

Rotherham Young Peoples Services were the first organisation to gain the Award in December 2006. The Award is valid for 3 years.

Rod Norton, Young People's Services Manager at Rotherham MBC was presented with their award certificate by Tom Wylie, former Chief Executive of The NYA at a celebratory event on 13th February 2007.
