The YRN was formally launched at a residential conference on the 8th and 9th December 2007, held at Warwick University. The conference bought together fourteen out of the fifteen network partners from across England, totalling ninety-one delegates over the two days. Each of the fourteen partner projects were represented by at least two workers and three or four young researchers. They all shared in two days of fun, learning, and guidance in doing real world research.
