Core competencies in sexual health for youth workers

The NYA and fpa have developed a set of competencies for youth workers involved in sexual health work. A seven day fpa course accredited by Stafford University ensures workers are able to meet the competencies.

Young People and Gambling - workshop with Tacade

Tuesday 17 June 2008 from 1.30 to 4.30 p.m.

An afternoon event at The NYA offices in Leicester aimed at more local services, to highlight two new Tacade resources for young people on gambling. The aims of the seminar are to outline research about young people’s gambling and provide an opportunity for participants to become familiar with two new gambling education resources (which all delegates will receive free copies of):

• You Bet! – gambling education materials for young people aged 11-16
• Just another Game? Gambling education materials for young people aged 13-19 years
