Guidance for You're Welcome Leads and Health Services
Key messaging for PCTs and CTs - You’re Welcome will help Primary Care Trusts and Children’s Trusts commissioners to transform the health services (NHS and non-NHS providers) they commission by improving the acceptability, accessibility, quality and choice of services for young people.
Journey for services during 2009 - 2010 - In all PCT/Children’s Trust areas, the first 10 services to self-assess as meets You’re Welcome’ will receive an on-site verification visit. Following this, a minimum of 20% of health services that have self-assessed as ‘meets You’re Welcome’ should be visited annually.
Quality Criteria to make young people friendly - The You’re Welcome (YW) quality criteria set out principles to support health service providers to improve their services and be more young people friendly.
Self Assessment Toolkit - This toolkit is designed to highlight the You’re Welcome quality criteria and enable service commissioners and providers to assess whether services meet the criteria and are delivering young people friendly services.
