Hear by Right Public Training Course

This practical training will answer a range of key questions:
- What are the benefits to an organisation of young people’s participation?
- How can I use Hear by Right to improve participation?
- And how will the Hear by Right Award help my organisation prove how good we are?
It will be delivered by Harry Wade and Mary Mills of Wade Mills Partnership. Harry is the author of the Hear by Right and worked at NYA for ten years, Mary was CEO of YouthBank UK and more recently trained a range of organisations in young people’s participation.
By the end of this one-day course delegates will have:
- Clarified the key definitions of young people’s participation and the benefits for your organisation
- Used the Hear by Right standards framework to record current evidence of participation in your organisation
- Identified your organisation’s priorities and begun to plan improvements
- Explored the Hear by Right Award and its relevance for your organisation
- Learned from the practice and experience of other participants
