A Little Book of Drugs
Providing a host of activities to explore drugs issues with young people, it offers around 30 tried and tested ideas and favourites for work with young people aged 13 to 16. Simple to use, it is split into three sections – warm-ups, activities and reviewing.
The first section offers straightforward exercises to open a session dealing with drugs, while the activities section includes a diverse range of ideas that cover information and knowledge, and explore attitudes, values and peer influence. Like all of Vanessa’s activity books, all ideas are devised to be done in a fun way that young people will enjoy. The final exercises suggest a few ideas for reviewing and reinforcing learning. Including basic drugs information and where to go to get more support, this handy book will help provide young people with a better understanding of drugs and their effects.
