100 people join the NYA Associate Register!
25 January 2010
The National Youth Agency has had a fantastic response from applicants keen to join its new Associate Network. Nearly 100 applications have already been received with more arriving daily.
As many of you will know NYA recently underwent a major restructure and we have now moved to a model with far fewer core staff and a greater emphasis on bringing in high quality associates with particular expertise for various contracts.
Although we have used associates previously and indeed have a number of strong relationships with those we have worked with recently, NYA wants to greatly extend the breadth of expertise contained within the Associate Network. To that end, we have begun a major recruitment drive and have received approached 100 applications so far. Applicants with the sort of skills and experience we are looking for will be invited to an assessment centre and, if successful, to an interview ultimately becoming part of the Associate Network.
As opportunities for associate work arise, those with relevant expertise will be invited to submit an expression of interest and contract managers here will select the strongest candidate.
Associates will get the opportunity to work with other professionals on exciting national projects, adding to their personal and professional development.
