Free training for youth workers: Money skills for young people

The partnership that brought you Barclays Money Skills ‘champions’ is delighted to offer a free one day training course for professionals working with young people : Money Skills for Young People – using the financial capability toolkit developed by Barclays.

The training is suitable for youth workers, teachers or volunteers and will show them how to use our Barclays Money Skills toolkit with young people and equip them with the skills and knowledge to deliver good quality financial education to the young people they work with.

The toolkit is aimed at young people aged 16 – 25, featuring activities and information to improve their financial skills. The resources are designed for all kinds of abilities and situations and will suit both large and small groups.

There are 24 training dates across the country from July until December. If you know of a number of organisations in your area that would be interested in the training please get in touch as we may be able to arrange a local training event for you.
